If I ever get the chance I'm gonna take it
If you ever let me in I won't come out
I'm making you a promise help me break it
You screwed me up inside & filled my world with doubt
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
Where do we go from here?
I long for you
But when your near
I don't know where to look
I don't know where to look
If I ever feel the need it's only for you
And the longing lingers on and can't come out
The feelings getting stronger help me break you
You make me laugh you make me cry
You make me scream you make me shout
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
Where do we go from here?
I long for you
But when your near
I don't know what to do
I don't know what to do
If you ever need my love I'm gonna give it
If you ever open up I'll open out
This feeling's just for you why won't you take it?
Can't keep it all inside
I've got to let it out
And if you ever change your mind I'll be waiting
If you listen to your heart you'll hear my voice
Morality, resolve they're slowly breaking
I'm giving me to you
I'm giving you the choice
I know where we go
Know where we go
Know where we go from here
You want me, I want you, but we know they need me too
That's the dilemma baby...
A 'tug of love' song. Getting pulled in two opposite directions as your desires do battle with your emotions, morality, ethics and principles. That's the dilemma baby!
And that's the human experience right there eh? Learning to rise above your animal instincts and be master of them rather than slave to them... And the only way to learn is to face the challenge. You can't learn without the real life experience. Are you going to give in and throw caution to the wind, like the guy singing here wants to? Or are you going to be strong and "do the right thing"? Many of us face this kind of challenge and really struggle with this kind of dilemma. There are no mistakes, only 'learnings' (With a lot of help, I did the right thing)
