Stuff! gets everywhere, under your feet, and in your hair
Stuff! never goes away, you get more, everyday
Stuff! is always hanging around, clogging you up and bringing you down
Stuff! takes your energy, so put it back where it’s supposed to be
And as you go on through your life, you get more stuff like the kids and wife
And they get more stuff for you, 'till your house is a stuff zoo!
And there’s stuff everywhere you go, in every orifice you know
Until you’re drowning in the stuff, ‘till you’ve had enough, had enough
Stuff! gets everywhere, under your feet, and in your hair
Stuff! never goes away, you get more, everyday
Stuff! is always hanging around, clogging you up and bringing you down
Stuff! takes your energy, so put it back where it’s supposed to be
And as you go on through your life, you get more stuff that the kids'll like
And they get more stuff for you, 'till your house is a stuff zoo!
Then you get into Feng Shui, and it says “throw it all away”
Or you’re drowning in the stuff, and you’ve had enough
Yeah you’ve had enough
And I’ve had enough
Yeah I’ve had enough
So goodbye to my
STUFF!
with Martin Hynes on bass and Dirk Forsdyke on Drums
Vocals overdubbed at 'The Groove House'
Recorded live in France in 13512 UCC (2011 Gregorian) by Michel Griffin
This is a 'rock-n-roll' acoustic version as it's often busked in the street
(Could also be called "Shite!" - or "Merde! in French)
(Could also be called "Shite"!!)
I'm sure we've all shared that experience at some time or another when you go to look for something in a cupboard or under the bed that you think you left there and you find all this... STUFF! You think "... where did all this STUFF come from???..." We seem to acquire so much STUFF these days, and particularly as I used to be quite a bad "Hector The Collector" I had more than most
But then I discovered "Feng Shui" and now, years later, all my 'Stuff' pretty much fits into one VW Camper Van :)
How much STUFF have you got?
