I realised that before I got on the road to freedom I used to write a lot of songs about love, romance and relationships. Looking back I guess some were written as a kind of escapism from aspects of life within "the system"... some examples of these songs are in the set below. The majority are earlier tunes (with a few more relating tunes included in the 'Realisation' & 'Revelry' playlists further down the page)
Sorry (I Fell In Love With You) [1992]
Has It Really Been A Year? [1993]
Falling In Love (With Myself) [1997]
Keep Coming Back To You [1999/2000]
Never Going There Again [2004] (& 13519)
And So, But You (Song For Jim) [2005]
Free Gypsy Girl [13513] (2012)
Where We Both Belong [13513] (2012)
How Patient Do You Want Me To Be? [13513] (2012)
Your Fragile Love [13516] (2015)
The Whale and The Octopus [13519] (2018)
Holding Space For You [13522] (2021)
Just To Let You [13524] (2024) (& 1991 & 1997)
As time went on, I wrote more about realisations of how life and working in the system can be, (does anyone actually like being a 'Serf'?!?) But my 'awakening' and subsequent research gave me a lot of great subject matter to write about. I call these "Realisation" songs
The Castle Crumbles From Within* [1991]
Where There's Oil (Where There's Not) [1993]
Waiting For The Weekend [1995]
What Are You Living For? [1997]
Same Same (But Different) [2005]
Breaking Cycles [13513] (2012)
A Test Of My Faith [13517/19] (2016/18)
Life On Line [13521/24] (2020/23)
As I changed my life more dramatically I became more and more free, happy and content, so I began to write more about HOW we can change ourselves and things in our lives and the world... I call these my "Remedy & Rebellion" songs
The Universal Constant* [1995]
Shop Corn (Shop On The Corner) [1998/99]
Feeding The Machine [13515] (2015)
Lost Without Love [13515] (2015)
Peace Love and Freedom [13518] (2017)
(Anarchy Song) The "An 'R' Key" [13520] (2019)
The New Normal? [13521] (2020)
Virtual Occupation ° [13522/23] (2022/23)
And to provide some Yin Yang balance to all that deep philosophical, soul searching, muso stuff (I downloaded the 'Gemini♊' Program!) we've got the 'Revelry' songs; some tongue in cheek tunes with a sense of humour!
(You Left) Paris In My Car [1991]
A Prophet-able Pay Day (Comments Version) [2005]
Take Off Your Shoes And Open My Beer [2010]
Song Love Song [2009/2011/2023]

As I'm using the ' Universal Celestial Calendar' which aligns with the 24,000 year 'Great Year' cycle of precession, and the U.C.C was launched with the year 13,513 (which started on 20th March 2012 Gregorian) of the 24,000 year cycle, all dates after that are in U.C.C format
