You may be superstitious
I say in print don't be ridiculous
No matter how sure you are
The doubt is always there
Although you may think your right
Life is so unfair
Life Is So Unfair
Life Is So Unfair
When She's not there
(Repeat)
You have fears evidently
So have I coincidently
How ever unsure I am
Undoubtedly you're there
Take a good look around
The clues are everywhere
Life Is So Unfair
Life Is So Unfair
When She's not there
(Repeat)
Instrumental
No matter how sure you are
The doubt is always there
Although you may think your right
Life is so unfair
Instrumental
Life Is So Unfair
Life Is So Unfair
When She's not there
(Repeat x 3)
Like Natural 'E' this was an early 'Haley/Coates' song and one of the first to be recorded
It's very Beatles/Rutles inspired and was a lot of fun to record, even if the quality is very poor by modern standards
Cliff (Coates) and I loved to pretend we were like Lennon & McCartney, ha ha, if only! and so wrote a lot of these 2 to 3 minute poppy songs with harmonies that we tried badly to sing :)
More early 90s nostalgia, resurrected years later in 2008 as part of The SubTles fun. Maybe I'll get that version online some day too
